Between the Earth and Sky
Alone with my Creator
Ascending into the fog
I hear the revelers
But I know not where they are
I can?t see the peak approaching
But I can feel the motion change
So myself I ready
As this journey must begin
The mist begins to thin as I dismount this floating tram
The fiber on which sat is replaced by that on which I now stand
The sticks begin to chatter as through this cloud I glide
All senses keen, save vision
The wind it burns my eyes
Between the Earth and Sky
I fly
Between the Earth and Sky
Suddenly it?s quiet
An absence of sound below
As I feel my heart float upwards
And I try to touch the sky
Suddenly I see it
It?s right there in my mind?s eye
It?s the paradise of always
There before me like a bride
So I leap up and consume it, for in courage it?s been earned
And I?m filled up like an ocean teaming with life beneath the surf
So in trust there is great victory, in myself strength from within
And my being I now ready
As this journey must begin
Between the Earth and Sky
I fly
Between the Earth and Sky
I fly
Between the Earth and Sky
